Overview

Cross-browser testing has become a major asset for businesses to stay ahead in the competitive market. Pcloudy's Browser Cloud enables users to test desktop web apps and websites on various browsers-OS combinations to ensure that it is working accurately across all platforms.

This document provide the steps to manually perform cross-browser testing or Live Web Testing.

Prerequisites

  • User needs to be registered on Pcloudy platform

Steps

  1. Login to the platform.
  2. Click on the "Desktop-Browser Testing" option.
  3. Select the available desktop-browser of your choice and click on "Start Testing"
  4. Once connected you are ready to start your testing on the desired browser.

Below mentioned actions can performed once browser is connected

  1. Local Test - Local Test is used to test local sites which are accessible in restricted environments.
  2. Change Resolution
    To change the resolution of the machine, follow these steps:
    • Click on the "Change Resolution Option"
    • Select the required resolution
  3. Capture Screenshots - Click on the "Screenshot" icon to capture screenshots. Click in the "Gallery" icon to view the captured screenshots.
  4. Mark as Bug - Click on the "Mark as Bug" to use the bug reporting feature, and mark bugs in an instant.
  5. Switch Browser - You can use this option to connect to another browser.
