Overview
Cross-browser testing has become a major asset for businesses to stay ahead in the competitive market. Pcloudy's Browser Cloud enables users to test desktop web apps and websites on various browsers-OS combinations to ensure that it is working accurately across all platforms.
This document provide the steps to manually perform cross-browser testing or Live Web Testing.
Prerequisites
- User needs to be registered on Pcloudy platform
Steps
- Login to the platform.
- Click on the "Desktop-Browser Testing" option.
- Select the available desktop-browser of your choice and click on "Start Testing"
- Once connected you are ready to start your testing on the desired browser.
Below mentioned actions can performed once browser is connected
- Local Test - Local Test is used to test local sites which are accessible in restricted environments.
- Change Resolution
To change the resolution of the machine, follow these steps:- Click on the "Change Resolution Option"
- Select the required resolution
- Capture Screenshots - Click on the "Screenshot" icon to capture screenshots. Click in the "Gallery" icon to view the captured screenshots.
- Mark as Bug - Click on the "Mark as Bug" to use the bug reporting feature, and mark bugs in an instant.
- Switch Browser - You can use this option to connect to another browser.
