Capturing Device Logs During a Testing Session

Overview

Capturing logs on Pcloudy gives teams instant visibility into what happened during a test session. The platform automatically collects system, application, and session logs while your app or site runs on real devices. These logs help quickly diagnose crashes, performance issues, network errors, and automation failures. Combined with recordings and screenshots, they enable faster triage and confident defect resolution.

Prerequisites

  • User must be registered Pcloudy account

Steps

  1. Login to the Pcloudy platform

  2. Select Real Devices on the Pcloudy Dashboard

  3. Select any device the All Devices section. and simply click on Start Testing.

  4. Click on Start under Logs on the Right Section to start capturing the logs.

  5. The user can continue performing your testing tasks, and the Logs will be captured accordingly.

  6. The user can view the Logs at any time once the test report is generated.
