Capture and Share Screenshots on Desktop Browsers

Overview

Pcloudy lets testers capture screenshots instantly during live testing on real desktop browsers, enabling quick validation of layouts, responsiveness, and browser specific behavior. Screenshots are saved automatically as session artifacts and can be viewed, annotated, and shared with teams. Each screenshot is linked to the exact browser, OS, and session, improving defect context, collaboration, and faster resolution.

Prerequisites

  • User must be registered Pcloudy account

Steps

  1. Login to the Pcloudy platform

  2. On the Dashboard page, Click on the Desktop Browsers Card.

  3. Now, the user will be able to access a wide range of Desktop browsers arranged in order of the respective Operating Systems, Browsers, and Browser versions.

  4. The user can choose the OS, select the Browser and the version, and Click on Start Testing.

  5. Click on Screenshot on the Left Panel.

  6. This will instantly take a screenshot of the current screen on the device.

  7. The User can view the captured screenshots by clicking on Gallery.

  8. The user can View, Edit, or Delete the screenshot from the Gallery section.

  9. The user can highlight and share the screenshot across teams using various integrations that are available on the Pcloudy platform.
