Performing Quick Actions to Test your Apps on Real Devices
Overview
The Quick Actions menu provides fast, essential controls to streamline real device testing. It allows testers to take screenshots for documenting UI states, rotate the screen to validate responsive layouts, and mark bugs directly during the session for quick reporting. Testers can also zoom in and out to inspect interface elements with precision and interact with the mobile screen in real time. These capabilities make it easier to test websites and applications on actual devices, ensuring accurate, reliable, and seamless validation across different form factors.
Prerequisites
- User must be registered Pcloudy account
Steps

Login to the Pcloudy platform

Select Real Devices on the Pcloudy Dashboard

Click on Mobile Browser on the Real Devices page

Enter the URL you would like to test, select the device and click on Start Testing

This will automatically open the URL on the device browser, allow the necessary permissions and perform your testing tasks.

You can now Take Screenshots, Mark a Bug or Rotate the Screen using the options under the Quick Action Tab.

Quick Actions Menu

| Install | Installs the selected application directly on the active device. |
| Screenshot | Captures a screenshot of the current device screen for reference or reporting. |
| Rotate Device | Changes the device orientation between portrait and landscape modes. |
| Mark a Bug | Capture and report issues during testing using integrated bug tracking tools such as JIRA. |
| Zoom | Zoom in or zoom out of the device screen for a closer and clearer view. |
| Device Buttons | Provides on screen access to native device navigation controls. |
