Monitoring Automation Execution on Browsers
Overview
Pcloudy provides real-time monitoring capabilities for your browser automation test sessions, allowing you to observe test execution live on selected browser and operating system combinations.
Accessing Active Sessions
Step 1: Navigate to My Active Sessions
- From the main menu, click on My Active Sessions.
- View all currently running browser automation sessions in the table.
Each session displays:
- Session Name: Browser, OS, and version details (e.g., Windows_10_chrome_129)
- Type: automation
- Progress: Current status (e.g., On Going)
Step 2: View Live Session
- Click the View Session (monitor icon) next to any active session to open the browser live-view interface.
Live Monitoring Interface
Once you open a session, you’ll see a real-time view of the browser executing your automation tests.
Available Options Include:
- Live browser screen streaming
- Session controls (as permitted)
- Copy Browser & OS Info option
Copy Browser & OS Information
- At the top of the live-view screen, use the Copy Browser & OS Version option.
- This copies details such as:
- Operating System
- OS Version
- Browser Name
- Browser Version
