This course covers three ways to integrate Appium with Pcloudy – from basic capability setup to Java connectors and API-based integration – with hands-on practice on real Android and iOS devices. 

About this course 

This course teaches you Appium, the popular open-source framework for automating mobile app testing on Android and iOS, and how to integrate it with Pcloudy’s real device cloud. You’ll learn three approaches to that integration — starting with Pcloudy capabilities for a quick setup, then moving into the Java connector, and finally API-based integration for more advanced control.

Along the way, you’ll get hands-on practice retrieving device capabilities, inspecting elements with Appium Desktop, and running your first automation script against real Android and iOS devices — both locally and on Pcloudy. By the end, you’ll be able to write and run Appium scripts confidently and integrate them into your existing Pcloudy testing workflow.

Requirements  

Basic understanding of how automation testing works 

• Basic knowledge of Java or willingness to follow along with Java code examples 
• A computer with a modern browser and stable internet connection 
• A free Pcloudy account (created during the course) 
• No prior Appium experience needed — the course starts from the fundamentals
