Overview

The Switch Device feature in Pcloudy allows users to run tests across multiple real Desktop Browsers in parallel without ending their current sessions. With this feature, testers can hold an active session on one Browser, switch instantly to another to start a new session and seamlessly move back and forth.

  • User must be registered Pcloudy account

Steps

  1. Login to the Pcloudy platform.

  2. Click on Desktop Browsers under the Functional Experience tab in the Left Panel of the Pcloudy platform.

  3. Select the OS, the Browser and the version, and Click on Start Testing.

  4. Click on the Switch Device button on the Left panel to connect to another Browser on the Pcloudy platform.

  5. Once you click on the Switch Device button, you can either terminate the current testing session by selecting No, or keep the current session active by selecting Yes.

  6. Once you make your selection, you can then look for another Browser and click on Start Testing.

  7. The previous Browser Session is still active and can be accessed by returning to the Pcloudy Dashboard and click on My Active Session on the Left Panel.
