Setting the Idle Timeout for your Testing Sessions

Overview

Idle session timeout in Pcloudy defines how long your test session can remain inactive before it automatically ends. This ensures that cloud devices and resources are used efficiently and remain available for all users. By automatically terminating idle sessions, Pcloudy helps maintain optimal device performance, prevents unnecessary resource locking, and adds an extra layer of security to your testing environment.

Steps

  1. Login to the Pcloudy platform.

  2. Click on Real Devices under the Functional Experience tab in the Left Panel of the Pcloudy platform.

  3. Select the device and click on Start Testing

  4. On the top bar choose the number of minutes in the Idle Timeout drop down menu.

  5. The user can change the default idle timeout of 5mins to 10minutes or more.

  6. The user will be able to see a success notification once the Idle Timeout is activated.
