Testing on Multiple Devices using the Switch Device Feature
Overview
The Switch Device feature in Pcloudy allows users to run tests across multiple real devices in parallel without ending their ongoing sessions. This capability is particularly useful when validating responsive websites, comparing UI behaviours, or verifying app performance across different models and operating systems.
With this feature, testers can hold an active session on one device, switch instantly to another device, start a new session, and seamlessly move back and forth, ensuring efficient multi-device testing with zero reconfiguration.
Prerequisites
- User must be registered Pcloudy account
Steps

Login to the Pcloudy platform.

Click on Real Devices under the Functional Experience tab in the Left Panel of the Pcloudy platform.

Click on Mobile Browser on the Real Devices page

Enter the Website URL you would like to test.

Select the device and click on Start Testing

This will automatically open the Website URL on the device browser.

Allow the necessary permissions to view the mobile browser.

click on the Switch Device button on the Left panel to connect to another device on the Pcloudy platform.

Once you click on the Switch Device button, you can either terminate the current testing session by clicking on No, or keep the current active by clicking on Yes.

Once you make your selection, you can then look for another device and click on Start Testing.
