Overview

Pcloudy 7.2 introduces powerful enhancements in performance testing, network observability, automation, and accessibility. With expanded device and session insights, advanced network filtering, and new application information tracking, testers can analyze and debug faster than ever. The update also brings automation support, time-based network monitoring, and accessibility testing, ensuring seamless app validation across real devices. These improvements make Pcloudy 7.2 a must-have for teams looking to accelerate testing, optimize performance, and enhance overall app quality.

Product Updates

QPilot.AI - New Drop

Edit Existing Test Cases: Users can now edit existing test cases directly within QPilot.AI. The process involves connecting a device, selecting an existing suite and test case, and modifying the test script. This enhancement allows testers to quickly adjust and optimize test cases without recreating them from scratch, improving overall efficiency and flexibility in test management.

App Performance Testing - Major Drop (Add-On Feature)

We've enhanced the Performance Experience Testing of your apps and added more performance metrics to various sections of the Performance Dashboard:

  • Expanded Device Information: Now includes Device Capacity (GB) and Free Space (GB), providing deeper insights into how storage impacts app performance.
  • Enhanced Session Insights: Displays Total Duration (Minutes) to help compare test run times and optimize execution efficiency.
  • New Application Information Section: Shows key app details (App Name, Version, Build, Package/Bundle ID, Minimum OS Version, and App Size) for both Android and iOS.
  • Advanced Network Filtering: Users can filter network requests by status codes (e.g., "200" for successful requests), speeding up debugging and issue identification.
  • Time-Based Network Monitoring: Users can select a time range to view network calls (URL, Response, Method, Type, Size, Timestamp, and Duration).
  • Automation Support for Performance Testing: Added an Observability option in Performance Reports, allowing teams to automate performance monitoring.
  • Easily Find App Performance Reports: Users can now find App Performance Report on the reports dashboard by using a filter option.

New Features

New Accessibility Testing Capability Added: Accessibility testing has been improved with support for Android TalkBack and iOS VoiceOver. These built-in screen readers allow users to navigate apps using voice guidance and gestures, ensuring that applications are accessible to visually impaired users.

Enhancements

Added Video in Browser Report: A video playback feature has been added to browser reports, allowing testers to visually review test executions.
