Pcloudy 7.4 Release Notes

Overview

Pcloudy 7.4 continues our journey toward smarter, more integrated testing by adding powerful capabilities to QPilot.AI, browser testing, and mobile app performance analysis. With this release, we've introduced flexible test dependencies, multi-OEM execution, browser switching, and a new performance comparison engine—tools designed to help QA teams optimize quality, speed, and coverage across test cycles.

Performance Experience Testing Platform Enhancements

Compare Reports

We've introduced a report comparison functionality in the App Performance section that allows users to compare two app performance reports side by side. This is a crucial step for teams focused on continuous performance improvement. Whether you're comparing against a prior version or a competitor's app, this tool helps you:

  • Identify regressions and validate improvements
  • Understand performance differences across OS versions, devices, or screen sizes
  • Spot memory usage spikes, slow launch times, or UI lags between releases

QPilot.AI (Test Generation AI Agent) Enhancements

Preconditions and Postconditions for Test Cases

You can now define preconditions and postconditions for any test case in QPilot.AI. This means you can run a prerequisite test before executing your current test or chain a follow-up test to run after it. This feature enables testers to create structured test flows and interdependent test scenarios, offering more realistic and modular test execution patterns.

Multiple OEM Selection for Test Collections

Test coverage just got broader. QPilot.AI now supports selecting multiple OEMs when configuring a test collection. This enables QA teams to execute the same test suite across devices from different manufacturers—ideal for identifying OEM-specific bugs and ensuring performance consistency across hardware variations.

Browser Cloud Enhancements

Browser Switching During Testing: Testers can seamlessly switch browsers while executing web tests, perfect for comparing behavior across multiple browsers. Check the performance of web tests across various browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and more in real time without restarting or reconfiguring the test environment.
