Biometric Authentication Testing on Real iOS Devices
Overview
Biometric authentication testing validates secure and seamless user access using Face ID and Touch ID in iOS applications. It ensures correct implementation of the Authentication framework and reliable handling of real user authentication flows. Testing real iOS devices helps teams verify biometric availability, success and failure scenarios, passcode fallback behavior, and consistency across iOS versions and device models. With the Pcloudy platform, testers can validate biometric prompts, permission handling, and app stability under real world conditions, ensuring a secure and frictionless login experience.
