Activating Assistive Touch button on iOS Devices
Overview
Assistive Touch on iOS provides quick access to essential device controls through an on screen menu. Activating it during testing helps simulate hardware button actions, system gestures, and accessibility interactions without physical buttons. This enables faster validation of navigation flows, accessibility behavior, and edge case scenarios on iOS devices.
Prerequisites
- User must be registered Pcloudy account
Steps
- Login to the Pcloudy platform
- Select Real Devices on the Pcloudy Dashboard
- Select any iOS device in the All Devices section. and simply click on Start Testing.
- Click on Settings on the Left Panel and Enable Assistive Touch.
- This will enable the Assistive Touch button on the iOS Device.
- The User can disable the option by following the same steps above.
note
By default the Assistive Touch on iOS Devices is disabled on Pcloudy devices.
