Activating Offline Mode on iOS Devices

Overview

Activating Audio Out on iOS allows testers to simulate audio playback and output scenarios directly on the device. Enabling it during testing helps validate how apps handle sound output, media playback, alerts, and audio routing through speakers or connected devices. This ensures audio cues function correctly, volume behavior is consistent, and the app delivers a reliable user experience across real world audio usage conditions.

Prerequisites

  • User must be registered Pcloudy account

Steps

  1. Login to the Pcloudy platform
  2. Select Real Devices on the Pcloudy Dashboard
  3. Select any iOS device in the All Devices section. and simply click on Start Testing.
  4. Click on Settings on the Left Panel and Enable Audio Out.
  5. This will enable the Audio Out option on the iOS Device.
  6. The User can disable the option by following the same steps above.

By default the Audio Out option on iOS Devices is disabled on Pcloudy devices.
