Activating Dark Mode on iOS Devices

Overview

Dark Mode on iOS changes the system interface to a darker color scheme to reduce glare and improve visual comfort, and activating it during testing helps validate color contrast, text readability, and visual consistency across screens. It ensures UI elements adapt correctly to dark themes and remain accessible in low light conditions, making it essential for delivering a consistent and inclusive user experience across appearance modes on iOS devices.

Prerequisites

  • User must be registered Pcloudy account

Steps

  1. Login to the Pcloudy platform
  2. Select Real Devices on the Pcloudy Dashboard
  3. Select any iOS device in the All Devices section. and simply click on Start Testing.
  4. Click on Settings on the Left Panel and Enable Dark Mode.
  5. This will enable the Dark Mode on the iOS Device.
  6. The User can disable the option by following the same steps above.
note

By default the Dark Mode on iOS Devices is disabled on Pcloudy devices.
