Release Note 8.6

Overview

Pcloudy 8.6 introduces enhancements that make testing faster, more connected, and easier to integrate into existing QA workflows. From a smarter Object Spy experience and direct ServiceNow bug logging to secure ADB tunneling with QConnect and seamless Katalon integration, this release helps teams simplify debugging, accelerate automation, and collaborate more efficiently across the entire testing lifecycle.

Inspect Any App on a Live Device Without Pre-Selection

Object Spy now lets you inspect UI elements across both installed and pre-installed apps without selecting an application first. Interact with a live device, inspect elements in real time, and capture the Session ID to seamlessly continue automation with Appium.

Key Highlights:

  • No app selection required
  • Inspect installed & system apps
  • Live UI element inspection
  • Reuse the same session in Appium

ServiceNow Integration

Log Bugs to ServiceNow Without Leaving Your Test Session

Pcloudy now integrates directly with ServiceNow, allowing testers to create incidents the moment an issue is discovered during a live testing session. Instead of manually switching tools, you can capture screenshots, populate incident details, and submit bugs directly from Pcloudy. Every incident is automatically created in your ServiceNow instance with the relevant attachments, helping development and IT teams start investigating immediately.

Key Highlights:

  • Create ServiceNow incidents directly from Pcloudy
  • Automatically attach screenshots as evidence
  • Eliminate manual bug reporting steps
  • Accelerate collaboration between QA and IT teams

QConnect – Android Tunnel

Securely Connect Cloud Devices to Your Local ADB Environment

QConnect bridges your reserved Pcloudy Android device with your local development machine over a secure ADB tunnel. Once connected, the cloud device behaves like a locally attached Android device, allowing you to install builds, execute ADB commands, stream logcat, run shell commands, and point existing Appium or automation frameworks to the same device without changing your workflow.

Built with enterprise-grade security, every connection is validated through session ownership and IP allowlisting, ensuring only authorized users can access reserved devices.

Key Highlights:

  • Connect cloud devices directly to local ADB
  • Install apps, access logcat, and execute shell commands remotely
  • Run existing Appium and automation workflows without changes
  • Secure access through session validation and IP allowlisting

Katalon Integration

Run Existing Katalon Automation Across Pcloudy's Device Cloud

Pcloudy now integrates seamlessly with Katalon Studio, enabling teams to execute their existing web and mobile automation projects on thousands of real device and browser combinations. There's no need to recreate test scripts—simply connect your Katalon project with Pcloudy to scale execution across real devices, improve coverage, and accelerate release cycles using cloud infrastructure.

Whether you're building codeless automation or leveraging Katalon's record-and-playback capabilities, Pcloudy provides the real-device infrastructure needed to execute tests at scale.

Key Highlights:

  • Execute existing Katalon automation projects
  • Support for both web and mobile testing
  • Run across 5000+ real device and browser combinations
  • Expand test coverage without managing infrastructure
